31 weeks
This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. She weighs about 4.1 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt. She can turn her head from side to side, and her arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath her skin. She's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active.

Please pray!
Destin's mom went for a petscan today, and did not get a good report. The cancer has spread. Please pray for Destin's mom, our family, and the doctors that are trying so hard to find the right chemo combination to stop the spread of this terrible disease in her body. She is so weak and tired, please pray for her strength and healing. We need a miracle!
30 weeks!!
Mary Margaret is the size of a large cabbage, and by now she has developed all five senses. Baby's Length: 15.71 in. Baby's Weight: 2.91 lbs.
This is the average, but Mary Margaret is in the 60%, and she already weighs 3 lbs 9 oz. Big girl :) I had a sonogram today, and everything looked great. I am happy to report that she is head down and growing beautifully. She is measuring one week ahead, and is looking good. Dr. Cole was very pleased. I go back in 2 weeks on Oct.6 for my 32 week checkup.
From this point on your baby will gain about a half pound each week. All that baby weight is for more than filling out her chubby cheeks. Now that all of his major body systems are in place and functioning, she needs padding to protect and insulate her organs. Her built-up fat tissue will also help her regulate her body temperature after birth and provide the energy she needs. Because your baby is adding fat and growing bigger, you might find her movements become less frequent -- it's getting harder for her to maneuver. Can't wait to meet Mary Margaret soon!! I am hoping to get her bed up this weekend and the nursery/girls room somewhat organized. Wish me luck :)

Good morning!
It's ONLY Tuesday..... We have been running trying to get ready the past two mornings. No one at our house wants to wake up. :) Mallory went to ballet yesterday, and she is loving it! She likes TAP the best. She is learning about "the zoo" this week at school. SaraBeth goes to gym tonight. She is loving that too. She has learned to do a standing bridge, a good donkey kick, and is working on her cartwheel. She is learning about "Good Health" this week at school. I had Bunko last night; we had a great time with friends :) Always look forward to that each month. Tomorrow is School Picture Day at PDS, so I will definitely have some pictures to post tomorrow :) Until then, Have a great day!!

Starkville Sat.
Sat. morning, SaraBeth, Nana, and I got up early and headed to Starkville to get mine and Nana's haircut/colored. Misty even braided SB's hair. She LOVED it! We went to the Grill for lunch (one of my favorites), then did a little shopping too. We went and got SB's toenails and fingernails painted (one maroon/one white) She was so proud!! I bought the polish so I could do Mallory's too when we got home :)
Mallory slept late and then she had 2 birthday parties to go to :) She went to Raines' cupcake party at the bakery at 10:00. They wore their pajamas and had a blast. Then to Tanner's dinosaur party at the Country Club at 12:00. She had so much fun! Happy Birthday Raines!!
Friday Fun!
After school, the girls and I met Hope and the boys at the park for a pizza picnic. The kiddos had a blast playing! It was wonderful weather too. Then we went on the square for the homecoming parade. They loved that too. Then we rode over to Winona with MawMaw and Nana and did a little fall shopping for all 3 girls. We got some precious smocks, etc at Very Mary! Super cute :) Can't wait to see SB, Mal, and Mary Margaret in their new outfits!! Then we came back home and got ready for the KHS homecoming football game. The girls had fun watching all the pretty homecoming maids and then got in the spirit line for the football players too. They had a blast! SB loved playing with her friend, Mary Landrum. Mal tagged along with them! :)

Week 29
Mary Margaret is the size of a butternut squash, and this week her head is growing to make room for her developing brain. Baby's Length: 15.2 in. Baby's Weight: 2.54 lbs. Your baby is getting stronger by the minute. This week, her pushes, kicks, and rolls will likely occur more frequently -- and forcefully. So don't be surprised if you feel an extra-strong karate chop or two! Around this time, the part of your baby's brain associated with intelligence and personality becomes far more complex. You can get to know your baby by paying attention to how she reacts to different foods, sounds, and lights.

Nana and Pop got the girls these "happy nappers" at the Watermelon Patch on Sat. on our way to the coast. SaraBeth picked the lady bug which she named: Izzy. Mallory chose the unicorn and named her Buttercup. They are both so cute! And on the way home yesterday afternoon, SB and Mal were happy nappers too, they slept all the way from gulfport to forest!! There new pals were in their laps the entire ride home!
Quick Coast Trip
Love these flowers at Beau Rivage!
Fun playground at the outlets!
The girls and I made a quick trip to the MS gulf coast this weekend. We left early Sat. morning and followed Pop and Nana to Biloxi. Pop has meetings down there. We stopped at Red Lobster for lunch and then did a little shopping at Target, Marshalls, etc. Then we got checked in at Beau Rivage and went to dinner at Blow Fly Inn. VERY GOOD SEAFOOD!! It was delicious. Then we headed to Gulfport factory outlets for a little more shopping. The girls loved the playground area :) Sunday morning, I had a wonderful, maternity massage in the spa at beau rivage. It was great!!!! The girls and Nana played at the pool! Then we went to eat lunch at Hard Rock Cafe. It was good, then the girls and I headed home, so we could be make it back to Awana last night! Fun weekend, but wish it could have lasted longer. Here are a few pics from the weekend.

Carson's SUPER hero party
Last night, we went to Carson's super hero birthday party. The girls had so much fun in the jumper and playing with friends. SB had a really great time playing with Braxton and her buddy, Elisabeth who was in her class last year, but has started going to Leake academy this year. They hadn't seen each other in a while. :) Fun night!~ Mallory played with Barrett mostly and had a great time! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARSON!
