Festival Fun
The BIG girls LOVED getting their faces painted. They are already talking about getting it done next year!! Mary Margaret rode in her stroller and was such a good baby too!
Ballet at Moomba
Mallory performed at Moomba on Saturday morning with her ballet class. They did a great job, and Mallory had fun.
Moomba Fun!
The girls had a great time at Moomba Friday night! They loved the slides, blooming onions, lemonade, and playing with their friends! It was so much fun :)
Fun Friday!
The kiddos had so much fun playing Friday after school. We got Wendy's and took it to the park for them to have a picnic and play. They had so much fun! Then we went to our house and played in the backyard with sidewalk chalk, jumped on the trampoline, had snowcones, and played in the sprinkler. Fun Friday afternoon!!! Then we all headed to Moomba!

Awana Awards
Last night was the awana awards at church. SaraBeth and Mallory have both done a great job this year in Cubbies. They learned all their verses and got all their patches. This was Mallory's first year as a Cubbie and she completed all the first year work and received a Cubbie Bear for her vest. This was SaraBeth's second year as a Cubbie and she completed all her second year work and received a Blue Ribbon! We are very proud of both of them! They love Awana so much :)
Baby Dedication
28
Well, my birthday weekend was great. I turned 28 on Saturday :) We had a girls night out in jackson on Thursday night. Nana, SaraBeth, Mallory, and I went to see The Lorax in 3D. It was really cute, and then went to 5 Guys! Yummy! Then, we spent the night down there, and shopped all day Friday. :) We had a great time! Then Sat. Destin and I had a date night in Starkville for my birthday. We went to the MSU spring game and saw SugarLand. It was soo much fun! Nana and Pop kept the girls. They had fun in Possumneck too!

Wait
I read this in an email this morning, and it really made me stop and think. We live in such a fastpace world, running here and there... When I pray about things and I don't immediately see results, I sometimes, well most of the time, become frustrated. But I need to stop and wait. It is all in HIS time, not mine! "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD." Psalm 27:14 I know that it is hard to accept sometimes, but God has a reason for the delays He brings into our lives. We may not be able to see it, but God is working. The delays may not be exactly what we want, but we need to appreciate them and accept them as God's will for our lives.. For me, it is comforting to know that God knows exactly what I need and when I need it.

Ok, so I am super excited about my date night this weekend. My birthday is Saturday, and Destin surprised me yesterday with sky box tickets to the MSU spring game and SUGARLAND concert!! I am so excited. Looking forward to eating good in Starkville, watching the bullies scrimmage, and the concert!!! I always love being in Starkville for Super Bulldog Weekend. Brings back many college memories.

5 months old
I can't believe that Mary Margaret, my baby girl, is already 5 months old. Where does the time go? She is growing and changing everyday. She is getting more rolls on those sweet little legs and is a chunky monkey! She weighs almost 16 lbs now! She is eating squash, carrots, and applesauce baby food so far. She will start green beans and bananas this week too. So far, we have had no food allergies ,and she loves all of it. She is still taking about 28 oz of simulac a day too. She is a great eater! She is VERY close to rolling over too. She has a really sweet smile and is the best baby. She goes to sleep about 8:00 at night and sleeps until 6:30 or later the next morning. Great baby! She loves to watch her sisters playing and she likes to ride in the stroller when we go shopping too. Such a sweet baby girl. Love her so much! We will have her baby dedication at church this Sunday :)

Being a Mom
I read a great quote from Natalie's blog this morning and it really made me stop and think:
“Motherhood is about raising and celebrating the child you have, not the child you thought you would have. It’s about understanding that she is exactly the person she is supposed to be. And that, if you’re lucky, she just might be the teacher who turns you into the person you are supposed to be.” –Joan Ryan
I have 3 beautiful daughters that are all three different in their own special ways. Those of you who know me well, know that I am/or was a very organized, scheduled, type A personality before children.... However, the girls have opened my eyes to an entirely different take on life and I am learning to focus on what is really important. I am definitley being shown that you can't sweat the small stuff. With each daughter, I am learning new things everyday. I am becoming more laid back than I EVER thought was possible. Thank you Lord for these girls you have blessed Destin and I with and the new things you are teaching us through them. They are truly our greatest blessings. Being a mom has truly changed my life for the better ,and I look forward to all these things these girls are going to teach me over the years to come.

dentist
SaraBeth had to go to the dentist this week to get a cavity filled. She had to have a shot and was not thrilled with getting the drill to have the cavity done. She cried a little, but she survived it. She got a BIG prize when it was over. We ate lunch together at Pizza on Main in Carthage too. It was yummy! Hopefully she won't have any more of these for a while. Dr. Tiffany did a great job and gave SB a prize before she left. Southern Smiles Pediatric Dentistry is a great place to go for your kiddos.
Silly girls!
I have to blog about what SaraBeth and Mary Landrum did this week. They painted their faces with fingernail polish! Of ALL things :) Melanie called me in a panic, and said that SB and ML had painted their faces up good with fingernail polish and she had to scrub hard to get it off with polish remover!!So if her face was red, we know why! We don't have a picture of them, but I had to write about it so I wouldn't forget these silly times :)
