We took the girls to outback on the way to the circus :) It was yummy! The girls said it was the BEST mac-n-cheese ever on the kids menu!

Feathers!!

The girls got feathers from Josephine's today. SaraBeth picked purple, and Mallory got blue :) They are clips so you can take them in and out super easily. :)

m&m's

I got the girls all signed up last night for music and missions at church. Mallory will be going to choir with Nicki and Brady, and then I am helping with 3yr old mission friends, and SaraBeth will be in the 4-5 yr old choir and mission friends. I'm excited about what the Lord has in store for us this year and what all He will teach, not just the girls, but me too. :)

Having fun!

They are having a blast at the Smith's this afternoon. Fun times!!

PlayDate

Today, the girls are soooo excited! They are having a playdate with Braxton, Barrett, and Brayden this afternoon. Hope picked them up from school, and we met at Penn's for lunch. WILD! Then they headed home to play, and I headed back to work :( I know they will have fun! And Lord, please give Hope strength and patience. She is going to need it with 5 kids by herself :)

Happy Wednesday!

Cosmo Club

We are selling jubilations cheesecakes for our annual fundraiser this year for the cosmopolitan club. They will be in just in time for the holidays! We have great flavors like key lime, mississippi mud, southern caramel pecan, strawberry swirl, turtle, and more..... They are $25 each and will be delivered on Nov. 8. They freeze well too! Let me know if you would like one :)

gymnastics

SaraBeth started gym last night with Mrs. Lindsey Dew. She loves it! She had so much fun doing donkey kicks and bridges :) She can't wait to go back next Tuesday!

day 2

And the girls are still excited about going to school :)

Week 23

Your baby is as big as an eggplant, and her pancreas is developing now.
Baby's Length: 11.38 in.
Baby's Weight: 1.10 lb. Yay! We made a pound!! Billions of brain cells will develop in your baby's brain over the next couple of weeks. These will control all of your baby's movements and sensory, and basic life functions like breathing. Also around this time, some major changes are happening with your baby's lungs. Surfactant is being produced, a substance that enables the air sacs to inflate and the lungs to fully expand. Right now she's still breathing amniotic fluid, but when he's born he'll be ready for air.

Ready 4 School

The girls are super ready for school at PDS. We have been counting down the days on the refrigerator. SaraBeth has been reminding me every morning to change the day :) We are on 5 today...... SaraBeth's 4K teacher is going to be Lauren McCool. She sent SB the sweetest welcome letter in the mail today! SB LOVED it! She loves to get mail!! Mallory's 3K teacher is going to be Amanda Rutherford. She called me a few weeks back, and she is going to be great too! We are looking forward to a great year ahead! We have Open House tomorrow night! The girls can't wait!!!

It has begun.....

It's official. My Christmas shopping has begun! I bought my first Christmas gift this weekend. And YES, it was for the girls :) I am starting now so I can be FINISHED before Mary Margaret's arrival so I can relax and enjoy my sweet new baby and the holidays :)

22 weeks & checkup

Week 22
Your baby is the size of a papaya, and her taste buds are becoming sensitive enough to react to what you eat this week. I bet Mary Margaret is thinking.... Why is she eating all this spicy stuff?? :)
Baby's Length: 10.94 in.
Baby's Weight: 15.17 oz.
Your baby's previously see-through skin will now become opaque. However, it will remain wrinkly, red, and covered in vernix until more fat helps to fill it out. Also this week, she's fine-tuning her sense of touch (thanks to maturing brain cells and nerve endings). Your baby may experiment with these newfound skills by feeling his face or anything else she can get her hands on. This week, your baby's eyebrows start growing and hair will start sprouting on the scalp, but this varies -- your baby may grow a thick head of BLONDE hair or she may enter the world bald. SaraBeth and Mallory were both bald, so I NOT getting most hopes up for a full head of hair! :)
My doctor's appt on Friday went well. The girls went back with me. They enjoyed visiting Dr. Cole and asked her a million questions. She politely answered all of them :) I have gained 12 pounds TOTAL so far for this pregnancy, so I feel good about that. This is less than I did with the girls at this point. Chasing them all over the house, I know why! We talked dates a little bit, but all she would promise me was that Mary Margaret would definitely be here by Thanksgiving :) So excited!!! We went shopping after the appointment and got a few things, but Jackson was wild due to tax free day. WILD!! I go back to the dr. on Aug. 26 for my sugar test and 26 week appt. Then I will start going every 2 weeks. Time is flying by!!

Bunko

We had fun last Thurs. night with some of our bunko girls. We went to Starkville and ate at the Grill! It was so much fun. We missed you Hope, Hollee, and Shea. :) We will have to do it again soon.
