Mallory's class had their mom's a mother's day picnic this morning. They sent us outside to fix our plates and sit down, and they came running outside with a rose and envelope for each of us. It was sooo sweet! They all said, Happy Mother's Day as they ran outside :) Inside the envelope was a sweet poem with a picture of our child holding up an "I love you Mom sign" It was so cute. And a red heart that they painted, it said "A mother can take the place of many things, but nothing can take the place of a mother." Awe!!! We had so much fun. We had subway sandwiches, chips and dips, and cookies. It was a great start to the mother's day weekend ahead.
