swim lessons
The girls are both taking swimming lessons from Chris Potts this week. SaraBeth went at 1:00 today and had a great time. She is swimming pretty much all over the pool now and some underwater. This is a HUGE accomplishment for her because just 1 week ago, she did not like to put her face in. :) Mallory went at 2:00. She had fun playing and swimming some too. Day 1 was a success!!

She starts swimming lessons tomorrow with Chris and Judy Potts. Can't wait to see what all she learns. We are going swimming today with our bunko group at Hollee's! More pictures to follow.

17 weeks
Your baby is the size of a large pear, and he may be sucking his thumb, a habit that he'll likely continue outside of the womb.
Baby's Length: 5.12 in.
Baby's Weight: 4.94 oz.
Finally, your baby's arms, legs, and trunk have caught up to the size of his head. Baby starts plumping up this week, as body fat is deposited under his skin and sweat glands develop. Also worth noting: The placenta is almost as big as your baby. It provides vitamins, minerals, proteins, fats, and oxygen, along with removing waste and filtering carbon dioxide.
This is a BIG week ahead. Next Friday, July 1, we go for our BIG 18 week sonogram. They check the growth and development of the baby and we find out if Baby Moore will a Girl or a Boy.... So excited!!!
Mal's 3 year checkup
Mallory went to see Dr. JoeJoe yesterday afternoon. She was a very big girl. She had her finger stuck and didnt even cry. She pottied in the cup, and even got a shot. She cried a little on that though. Mal weighed 32.8 lbs and is in the 60%. She is in the 60% on height as well. She got a good report! Here she is enjoying her Sweet CiCi's ice cream afterwards :)

16 weeks
Your baby is the size of an avocado, and he is now coordinated and strong enough to make a fist.
Baby's Length: 4.57 in.
Baby's Weight: 3.53 oz.
Your baby's delicate skeleton continues to harden from rubbery cartilage to bone. Even so, his bones will remain somewhat flexible for an easier trip through the birth canal. The umbilical cord has fully matured with one vein and two arteries that are protected by Wharton's jelly (a thick substance that makes the cord slippery so it can move freely around your baby). By the way, if you're having a girl, hundreds of thousands of eggs are forming in her ovaries this week -- your future grandchildren!

15 weeks
Our baby is the size of an apple this week and his/her blood vessels are growing and getting stronger now. Lanugo, your baby's first ultrafine, downy hair, now covers his back, shoulders, ears, and forehead. It helps him retain body heat, but once he gains enough fat to do the job, this hair will fall off -- probably before birth. Facial expressions are your baby's newest trick -- he can frown, squint, grimace and wince.
I am 15 weeks 5 days today. I went to the dr on Monday for a regular checkup. It went well. Heart Rate in the 150s. We go back on July 1 at 18 weeks to find out if Baby Moore # 3 is a girl or boy!! Yay, this day will not get here soon enough. We are working on names and will hopefully have one picked out by then.
VBS- week 2
SaraBeth is going to VBS at the Presbyterian Church this week. She is LOVING it!!! She loves doing crafts and singing! Mrs. Judy Potts is her teacher, and she loves her!! She is learning alot :) She will be lost next week with no Bible school to go to. She is definitely my social child; loves to be on the go, go, go. I wonder where she gets this...?? Hum... Maybe Destin?? LOL
