Mal's "Meet and Greet"

Today at noon, we went to Mallory's school to meet her teacher and classmates. She is excited about going back to school on Monday. I know she is going to have a great year. Mrs. Melanie is going to be a great teacher and she has some sweet kiddos in her class. Braxton, Eli, Sarah, Lilly Grace, Olivia, Brayden, Jacob, Walker, Jake, Jadyn, Jack, and Mallory are all in the class. Great year ahead! My prayer is that Mallory not only learns her school work this year, but also learns more Bible verses and more about Jesus that will her equip her to live for HIM.

Our 3 girls :)

These are some of my favorites of the girls :) Sorry for the photo overload today, BUT Leah did a fantastic job!!! Thanks Leah!!! Love them all :)

Family Favs

My Sweet 8 month old baby girl!

These are a few of my favorites of the BEST baby in the history.... She goes with the flow, as we drag her around to all the big girls' activities, she hardly ever fusses, she is easy going, laid back, a good eater, has just started pulling up, crawling everywhere, has the prettiest little smile, and is such a doll baby! Look forward to having your first birthday in just a short few months, see you take your first steps, get your front teeth, grow more hair (hopefully soon, I am dying to put bows in it), and other first year milestones that come our way. We love you, Moggie!!!

My Most fun 4 year old!!

Here are a few of my favorites of the most witty, sweet, hard headed, skinny, wild, and silliest 4 year old I know. We love you Mallory, and look forward to a great last year with you at First Pres. Preschool. You are going to have a great year at school, choir, mission friends, taking gymnastics, playing soccer in the fall, and elevate at FBC, and I am sure all other activities that your Big Sis is involved in. She thinks she is just as big as SaraBeth and her friends :) We love you!

My Favorite 5 year old!

These are a few of my favorites of the most tender hearted, kind, giving, loving, wild, and talkative 5 year old I know. We love you SaraBeth and can't beleive you are headed to BIG school, Kindergarten on Monday.... I am excited about a great school year, Mid south Extreme cheerleading, choir, Mission friends, soccer in the fall, Elevate at FBC, and I am sure other activities coming up for my social butterfly, SaraBeth!!! We love you :)

Few Favs

Leah Hendrix did an amazing job with our family photos last night, and she already has them edited!!! Love her :) These are a few favorites so far...

1 week away!

Well, we officially have 1 week until school starts!!! Mallory has her "Meet and Greet" tomorrow at noon with Mrs. Melanie Newmann. She is super excited about going tomorrow to see the classroom and her friends. Mallory actually met her teacher last week at Newk's in Jackson. We were leaving and ran into her in the parking lot. Great place to meet her teacher :) Last Friday, the class lists came out at Lower Elem. SaraBeth is so excited that she is in Brandi Burrell's class!!! I am too!!! She has some great friends in there too, so I know it is going to be a great year :) Open House is this Thursday night at 6:00. I hope I am ready for all this..... Pray for me!!!! I can already feel my eyes wanting to fill up with tears, Oh boy! Imagine what Monday is going to be like... Entergy gives moms the morning off on the first day of school every year (one of our many great perks), anyway, I am taking the WHOLE day!! I know I am going to need it!!!!!! The Lord has great plans for the next chapter in our lives, and I am going to TRUST Him. :)

Pool fun

These little girls are swimming like FISH now. SaraBeth has learned how to do a front flip off the diving board and a cartwheel off there too and can swim the length of the pool now, mostly underwater, and she is doing great. Mallory mastered jumping off the diving board and going down the slide with NO floaties. She is swimming to the side and doing great. Both of them have gotten rid of the floaties this year, and I am one happy mama about that. One less thing to pack in the pool bag. Now we just have to teach Mary Margaret :)

Thursday

Thursday afternoon, the girls had dentist appts in Jackson, so Destin and I took them :) Well, each of them have 1 cavity :( But other than that, their teeth looked good. We go back in Sept. We took the girls to Target and Bass Pro after the appt. Fun family afternoon in Jackson :)

Kindergarten

It is so hard to believe that SaraBeth will be starting kindergarten at REAL school in a week and a half. This mom is having a tough time already. It is so sad how quickly they grow up, start out as a sweet little innocent baby, then into a toddler, and now into a little young lady heading to BIG school. I could cry just thinking about it. She is excited and nervous, and I am beyond nervous. Stressed is a better word for it. This starts a whole new chapter of our life... REAL school. Kosciusko Lower Elementary.... I can hardly say it without feeling sick to my stomach. My baby is NOT supposed to be this old. But while I am in stressed out mode; the Lord is probably up there laughing at me. I was in the Word this morning, and read my journey... Here is today's devotion theme: Realizing that God has a plan for the next chapter in your life....I have got to learn to let go, and let God be in control! Thank you Jesus, You are always RIGHT on time. :)
